Stephen Kelly lives and works in Ticino, Switzerland, where he is currently developing long-term photographic projects along the Swiss-Italian border. During his residency, Stephen’s aim will be to transform one of these projects titled ‘Crest’ into a book. Set in an enclosed alpine valley, the work explores the history and life of this secluded landscape, whilst simultaneously exploring more personal notions of belonging, home and isolation.
