Luísa Ferreira (1961) is Lisbon based photographer. She began photographing professionally in the 1980s developing personal projects and commissioned work. She was part of Público's founding team of photojournalists and was a correspondent for the Associated Press.

During her residency, Luísa was able to transform into a book a project she developed in 1991. She spent the day in the carpentry shop at Central Tejo in Belém with her friend and his ex-boyfriend. They went undressing, mixing their bodies with the materials. Matter impregnated their bodies. Bodies became matter. She watched and photographed.
